American Airlines and American Eagle (in partnership with Susan G. Komen
for the Cure)
held a Passionately Pink for the Cure "Pink-Out" celebration
on Thursday, October 13, 2011.
The MQT team changed its color scheme to"Think Pink" for breast cancer
awareness: ticket counters and gates were decked
out in pink, and
employees
even donned pink attire, including special pink-ribbon
scarves and ties for
many
uniformed employees.

As part of the festivities, a special pink-ribbon American Eagle aircraft arrived in
Marquette, proudly displaying the iconic Susan G. Komen for the Cure pink-ribbon
logo. And, as you can see in the photos and
video
below . . . the aircraft even
received a water cannon salute upon departure.
